Latest Health & Safety Protocol

New York State recently made changes to mask recommendations for vaccinated individuals inside various businesses based on the CDC's newest recommendations. We are thrilled that the infection rate of Covid-19 has steadily decreased over that last few weeks with the availability of the vaccine and continued safety measures. 

These changes did not come with specific guidelines for the personal care service industry and therefore we hope to soon see more specific recommendations for hair salons and will ease into these new protocols with caution. 

The independent artist team at bubu has collectively decided to require masks and continue our safety protocol as usual through June 12th. We will continue to hold your safety as a top priority. In June we will reasses the guidelines based on the data and experiences over the next few weeks. 

Please arrive to bubu for your appointment with a mask covering your mouth and nose.
